Frankly, if I say “I totally understand your mood here, dear Jon”, I would lie to you. Since this is your journey, and things that you face here are unique to your personality. But, I know one thing: the pleasure that a writer gets is not just somewhere around i) being published with tons of positive feedback; ii) starting a book contract; iii) getting the peak of writing freedom control; and etc. I guess, the real nirvana that a committed writer acquires is during those struggling periods of real writing… With zero expectations… And with a minimum mood of “taker” position. Since a committed writer is always in a position of all time “giver”…
All respects, dear Jon!
